The early childhood program offers dance instruction for beginning students. The teachers introduce children to the joy of movement through musicality, creativity, coordination and the social interaction of the dance class.
Noah's Angel's program: Ages 2-3: Meets 1 day a week for 30 mins.
A 30 minute Christian themed story, that takes the children on a boat ride where they become elephants, lions, monkeys and turtles. This program will capture any child's cognitive skills, creativity, and individuality.
Pre-Ballet I Program: Age 3-4: Meets 1 day a week for 1 hour
Pre-Ballet II: Age 4-5: Meets 1 day a week for 1 hour
The class includes work on coordination skills, basic ballet technique, rhythm, timing, miming, and group work. Students gradually develop skills including demi plie, pointing, and flexing feet and toes, controlling knees at will, light ballet runs, ballet skips, gallops, pony trots, and arm control in a structured class environment that develops creativity and enjoyment through achievement. Level 1, 1A, 1B: Meets 1 day a week for 1 hour
Children explore a more formal ballet class. They develop strength while maintaining flexibility. Creativity and musicality is nurtured and developed. International Dance Acclaim syllabus is incorporated into these levels. Parents may register for level 1A students and above to join us in our International Dance Acclaim. Level ones continue the addition to their skill-sets through the introduction to barre work, polka, attitude devant with hop, and classical position of the arms.
Level 2A: Meets 1 day a week for 1.5 hours
Level 2B: Meets 2 days a week for 1.5 hours each class
Children begin to grasp technical concepts and strengthen their performance skills. International Dance Acclaim syllabus is incorporated in the class. Parents may register these students to join our performance. Techniques taught include full plies, en croix barre, detailed feet positions, simple arabesque, and new ballet steps.
Level 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B: Meets 2 days a week for 1.5 hours each class
This program is designed to take the dancer from the earliest steps to an advanced level of study. A healthful approach and guided progression builds and enhances the dancers' body and technique. International Dance Acclaim syllabus is incorporated into this youth program. All students are encouraged to participate in the performance.
