Celebrating 25 Years

In June 1994, Bernadette Campbell's childhood dream of owning her own ballet school came true when she opened the Buford School Ballet with one student. However, it soon grew to be one of the largest ballet schools in the South with the staff of 15 and more than 600 students. After opening and operating her downtown Buford location for 15 years, Bernadette opened a 2nd location in 1999, the Hamilton Mill school, and a 3rd location opened in Flowery Branch 2003. After successfully opening and operating the Hamilton Mill location for 10 years and the Flowery Branch location for 6 years, Miss Bernadette decided in 2009 to consolidate all three studios and open one massive, newly-constructed, 5-studio location in Buford off of Hamilton Mill Road.

The home of the Buford School of Ballet has FIVE studios with beautiful 18-foot ceilings with fans for our pas de deux classes and pas rehearsals, raised marley flooring, and retractable walls which create over-sized studios for full-company rehearsals. We offer changing areas for the dancers, and a large parking lot for parents with safe and convenient access to the studio's main entrance.

Small viewing windows are located in each door to the studios so our proud parents can view the progress of their children and our younger dancers can see what they have to look forward to. As they watch the mature dancers, this can be most inspiring to them. The dreams begin in their young minds!

Ms. Bernadette & Buford School of Ballet are proud to have produced, staged, & choreographed shows such as Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Back on Broadway, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast,  Noah's Ark, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Coppelia, La Bayadere, Paquita, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Star of Wonder, and The Nutcracker all at the beautiful Gwinnett Center.

At our studio we begin or end classes and rehearsals with prayer, use classical and Christian music, and desire to uphold a standard of moral integrity in our choreography, music, and costume selection.

We think you will find what you are searching for in our studio. We are dedicated to teaching professional dance technique in a wholesome, Christian atmosphere.
