Georgia Christian Dance Theatre, the official company of the Buford School of Ballet, was founded in 1997 by Bernadette Campbell as a pre-professional dance company. The program strives to create a Christian environment for the dancers, recognizing that the gift of dance comes from God. The company serves as a performing outlet for talented and dedicated young dancers, as well as a stepping-stone for those who wish to pursue dance at a college level or a professional career.
